AMERICAN ROAD
American Road – “Who Saved Who”
Have you ever rescued a dog and wondered who was really the one being saved? Members of the New Jersey based band, American Road, obviously have. “Who Saved Who” is a heartfelt tribute to the love between a man and his best friend – a tune every dog lover will relate to.
BLACKBERRY SMOKE
Blackberry Smoke – “All Rise Again”
Atlanta-based Blackberry Smoke teams up with the incomparable Warren Haynes (Allman Brothers, Govt. Mule & many others) on the tune, “All Rise Again” off their newly released album You Hear Georgia.
Cliff Wheeler Band – “Let Me Down”
The Cliff Wheeler Band doesn’t disappoint with their latest release, “Let Me Down.” The rockin’ country blues band based in Lemon Springs, NC consists of father, Cliff Wheeler (Lead guitar/Acoustic guitar/Vocals) and son, Garrett Wheeler (Bass guitar), accompanied by Gary Orlando playing lead “dirty guitar” and Johnny Handy (Drums).
Como Brothers – “Madness”
Long Island brothers, Matt & Andrew Como, have been making music together for years. Their latest single, “Madness,” released earlier this year is a mellow pop tune, perfect for a warm summer night.
DIRTY HONEY
Dirty Honey – “Tied Up”
Dirty Honey, the Los Angeles-based hard rock band, just released their first studio album. We had a difficult time choosing which single to add to our list, but we chose, “Tied Up.” It’s the perfect song for all those hot and sultry summer nights.
ELEKTRIK PEOPLE
An hauntingly amazing electronic pop cover of the Stevie Nicks original, “Landslide,” released on May 26th, Stevie’s birthday. Evan Robinson (Vocals), Reid Curby (Electric guitar), and Svend Lerche (Producer) are Elektrik People, based out of Los Angeles.
RIVER TOWN SAINTS
River Town Saints – “Long Time Coming”
“Nothing like summertime moonlight lovin’, this good time’s been a long time coming.” Ontario, Canada’s talented and resilient country band, River Town Saints, are back with a brand new single, “Long Time Coming” – the perfect beer-drinking, sun-soaking, summer song.
SHIPS HAVE SAILED
Ships Have Sailed – “Take My Money”
Will Carpenter and Art Andranikyan are the amazing pop duo, Ships Have Sailed, based in Los Angeles. Their new single, “Take My Money” is a carefree pop song with an ironic twist.
SUB-RADIO
Sub-Radio – “King Of My Heart”
Long Island brothers, Matt and Andrew Como, have been releasing amazing singles for the last several months. Their most recent, “King Of My Heart” is an upbeat love song, perfect for dancing on the beach with that special someone.
THE PRETTY RECKLESS
The Pretty Reckless – “Got So High”
NYC’s The Pretty Reckless just released their new album, Death By Rock And Roll, this past February. It was hard to pick a favorite off this stellar album, but for our playlist we chose, “Got So High.” A laid back, summer rock song if we’ve ever heard one, featuring the stellar vocals of the beguiling, Taylor Momsen. The Pretty Reckless is: Taylor Momsen (Lead vocals/Rhythm guitar), Ben Phillips (Lead guitar/Backing vocals), Mark Damon (Bass), and Jamie Perkins (Drums).
