Our first experience with The Crime Scene, was at the 2019 Blues & Brews Festival in Denver, this past summer. There was a fantastic line-up of blues artists that day, and The Crime Scene blew them all away with their contagious energy, rockin’ rhythms and stylish vintage swag.
I caught up with Kerry after the show, and another friendship was forged, thanks to music. When I heard about Kerry’s plans to release her new album City Of Love, alongside Cass Clayton’s new album Play Nice, I knew I had to be there for that. Cass and Kerry sang back-up on each other’s new albums – how cool is that?
The double album release party was held in September, on Friday the 13th and under a full moon. It truly was a night to remember, full of music and magic.
We had a front row seat for The Crime Scene’s performance, and what struck me more than anything, was the electric presence of the band. Not to mention the seductive sparks that were flying between Kerry, and her husband and lead guitarist, Paul “Six” Shellooe.
Kerry Pastine & The Crime Scene performed their new album, City Of Love, in its entirety. Every song was better than the last, and they had the crowd on their feet and dancing all night.
Our connection with Kerry and Cass, has also birthed another valuable project – She.E.O., an organization of women leading the way in entertainment, here in Colorado.
Virtuosity Worldwide is proud to be a part of this organization, and is committed to supporting and promoting She.E.O. and its mission.
