Beth Williams Introduces Us To Colorado Music Legend Chris Daniels

One of my favorite things about my job is connecting my indie artist friends, and recently I had the opportunity to connect my longtime friend, Chris Daniels, with my Western-Colorado friend, Beth Williams. Beth hosts an amazing podcast where she interviews singer/songwriters and shares their music.

Beth’s most recent interview was with Colorado treasure, Chris Daniels. Chris is a Grammy nominee, an inductee and former Director of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame, and his band Chris Daniels & The Kings will be celebrating 40 years of making music next year!

In this in-depth interview, Chris talks about his life in Colorado, including his time with Colorado’s first jam band, Magic Music, who made their mark on the CU campus in the seventies. Lee Aronsohn, co-creator of The Big Bang Theory and Two and a Half Men, was a fan of Magic Music back then and he recently got the band back together and created an award-winning documentary about the band. Judy Collins & Chris Daniels - Colorado Music Hall Of Fame Inductees 2013

Chris Daniels was inducted into the Colorado Music Hall Of Fame, alongside Judy Collins in 2013, joining other inductees such as Joe Walsh, John Denver, Poco and a host of other Colorado music legends.

Tune in for the full interview below and find out what band/artist Chris would like to open for and tour with, how fellow Colorado Music Hall Of Fame inductee Freddi Gowdy came to join The Kings, his cancer battle, and what Chris has planned for new music releases in the near future.

THANK YOU, Beth Williams, for a fun and engaging interview!
